DIGBY - Nursing coverage has been found for the Digby General Hospital emergency department on Sunday night, Dec. 16. This means the emergency department will remain open and the closure previously announced will not take place.
Remember, anyone with urgent medical needs should call 911, particularly if experiencing unusual symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest tightness, abdominal pain, persistent headache or dizziness, or an injury requiring stitches or involving a broken bone.
