Agnes Doucette — Yarmouth

Agnes Doucette
DOUCETTE, Agnes Gertrude – age 75, Pinkney’s Point, Yarmouth Co., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born January 18, 1944 in Wedgeport, she was a daughter of the late Barney and Gertrude “Gertie” (Cottreau) Robbins. Agnes was a homemaker, having also worked in the fish processing industry. She enjoyed playing bingo and knitting. She is survived by her husband of nearly 58 years, Wilbur Doucette as well as by their children, Joyce (Philip) Wood, North Alton; Belinda (Wade) Wood, Pinkney’s Point and Randy (Sharon) Doucette, Kinderslea, SK; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Jane Surette, Pinkney’s Point and a brother, Joe Robbins, Wedgeport. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Robert Doucette as well as by brothers, William, Donald, Adolphe and Everett Robbins; sisters, Frances Corporon, Viola Robbins and a sister in infancy. Arrangements were entrusted to H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Melbourne on Friday, May 10 at 10:00 a.m., Father Henry Smolenaars officiated.
