SMITH, Andrea Helen. Heaven has welcomed a special angel. Andrea passed away peacefully at her home, Harbourside Lodge, Yarmouth on Monday, January 13, 2020 with family by her side. Born in Yarmouth May 15, 1965, she was the daughter of David Smith Jr., Rockville and Patricia Murphy, Wellington. Andrea was a long-time resident of Harbourside Lodge and was very happy there. She particularly enjoyed her car rides with Sandy, loved macaroni and cheese, chocolate peanut butter cups and bubble baths. She is survived by her father, David Smith (Shirley); mother, Patricia Murphy; brother, Russell Smith, Coldbrook; twin sister, Angela, Harbourside Lodge; nephew, Jarrett Smith, Coldbrook; and niece, Nina Smith, Fredericton. Andrea was predeceased by paternal and maternal grandparents. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. There will be no visitation. A private graveside service will take place in Wedgeport, St. Michael’s Parish Cemetery at 11 a.m., Friday, January 17, 2020, Deacon Bruce Hubbard officiating. A heartfelt thanks to Dr. Webster, Sandy, Kelly, Leanne, Liz and all the staff for taking such excellent care of Andrea and guiding us through this journey.
