Andrew "Andy" Deveau — Edmonton

DEVEAU, Andrew “Andy” Ross – Edmonton, formerly of Yarmouth. Peacefully and surrounded by family and friends, Andy, age 57, passed away at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Edmonton, on December 7 at 4 p.m. Predeceased by his father, Joseph Henry, he is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Laurie, his son Ryan (Dylan), daughter Megan (Joseph), mother Myrtle (Muise) Deveau, brother Stewart (Joanne), sister Barb (Frank) and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. Andy proudly served in the Royal Canadian Air Force for 20 years, was a former volunteer firefighter with the Yarmouth Fire Department and devoted untold hours to bettering the communities he lived in. Andy loved his family and treasured his friends above everything. Andy's family would like to express their deepest gratitude for the dedicated care he received at ICU Royal Alex and his many years of care at the dialysis unit at Royal Alex. Along with his nephrologists Dr. Markland, Dr. Deved, Dr. Pisani and Dr. Michalska. A service to celebrate his life and say goodbye was held on Wednesday, December 13 at 1 p.m. at the Chapel of St. Luke and St. John, CFB Edmonton. Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Dialysis unit at the Royal Alexandria Hospital in Andy's name.
