Anna Lefave-Fitzpatrick — Yarmouth

LeFAVE-FITZPATRICK, Anna M. – age 101, Nakile Home for Special Care, Argyle, formerly of North Belleville, Yarmouth Co., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born April 17, 1916 in North Belleville, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Theresa (Muise) LeFave. Anna worked most of her life as a waitress aboard cruise ships. She loved traveling and enjoyed doing needlepoint. She is survived by many nieces and nephews in both Canada and the United States. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Herbert Fitzpatrick, as well as by sisters, Frances Alden and Florence LeFave, and brothers, Peter, William and Lawrence LeFave. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Yarmouth. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from Saint Anne’s Church, Ste-Anne-du-Ruisseau, Father Albeni d’Entremont officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart & Stroke Foundation.
