Anna Smith

SMITH, Anna Marion – 80, Clark’s Harbour, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Friday, October 19, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was born in Annapolis Royal on June 10, 1938 to the late Charles and Marjorie (Spurr) Boudreau. Left to mourn her are her, husband of 58 years and love of her life, Don; children, Donna (Jeff) Knowles, Glen (Deborah) Smith, Cheryl Smith; special “adopted” daughter, Gwen Blades; grandchildren, Virginia (Sylvain), Grace-Anne (Daniel), Katherine (Eugene), Thomas, Raeanna (Joshua), Ioan, Will, Nick, Scott, Alex, Alysha; and 12 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by sisters, Mary (Charles), Viola (Bill), Jean (Boyd), Aileen (Lloyd), Charlene; and a brother in infancy. The family would like give special thanks to the amazing staff of 3 East Medical, Yarmouth Hospital. There was a visitation, Sunday from 7-9 p.m. at the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, where the funeral was held Monday, October 22 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Nathan Hill officiating. Interment followed in the Oakvale Cemetery. Memorial donations in Marion’s name may be made to the Island Barrington Volunteer Fire Department or Gideon’s International.
