Catherine Nielsen (Maillet) — Dartmouth

NIELSEN (Maillet) Catherine Marie – age 75 of Dartmouth. Passed away peacefully on Friday, June 22, 2018 in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Mavillette, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Lucie (Comeau) Maillet. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a dedicated homemaker. Catherine is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Richard “Rick”; sons, Carl (Meta), Kevin, all of Dartmouth; granddaughters, Raven and Ivy; sister, Cecilia Burton (Gerald); brothers, Gerald (Yvette), Nicolas (Florence) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by brothers, Leo, Andre and sisters, Marguerite and Annette. Visitation was held on Thursday, June 28th from 12 pm – 2 pm followed by the funeral service at 2 pm with a reception following, all in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth.
