David "Sinclair" Chetwynd — Dayton

CHETWYND, David "Sinclair - Nov. 21, 1931 - Dec. 25, 2017 It is in sadness that we announce the loss of another native Woods Harbour son. Sinclair was the only child and son of the late Everett and Maude (Adams) Chetwynd. He drove trucks for many companies in this area, as well as in northern Ontario. He also worked as a mechanic for Pinkhams Garage and for Woods Harbour Fina. He was predeceased by the love of his live, Esther Powers from Clyde River, Shelburne County. People who stood by Sinclair during his spiritual journey were his good friend and care giver Brenda Smith of Yarmouth, also David Cameron and his wife Pam, Wilburn and Katherine Cameron. Also friends Richard McAdams, and John Crandell and other friends who visited him many times. Your kindness to Sinclair was always appreciated. Special thanks to Roseway Manor and Villa St Joseph for TLC during his last days. No visitation or funeral at Sinclair's request. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H. M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Yarmouth. It was Sinclair's wish to have David Cameron scatter his ashes off the north mountain in the Annapolis Valley where his heart and fondest memories were shared with his love Esther. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice.
