Donna Jefferson — Digby

Jefferson, Donna Lee age 66 of Waldec, Annapolis Co. passed away on March 24, 2019 in the Digby General Hospital. Born in Summerside, PEI , she was a daughter of Gilbert Bates, Middleton and the late Grace Marie Lent. She was a member of the Bear River United Baptist Church. Besides her father, she is survived by her husband, Lawrence; daughters, Patricia Quinn, Brampton, Ont; Ann (Elijah) Adams, Dartmouth; Daisy (Craig) Landry, Cape Breton; Crystal Jefferson, Halifax; sons, Lawrence Jr. Dartmouth; Matthew at home; brothers, Donald (Linda Snider) Bates, Fort Francis, Ont.; Gary (Tracy) Bates, Nictaux; grandchildren, Chad, Elizabeth, Liam, Lochlan and Tristin. Besides her mother, she was predeceased by brother, James; sister, Margaret Ann; step father, Earl Lent and step mother, Joan Bates. At the request of the family there was no visitation or service. Donations in memory can be made to the Annapolis Valley VON or to the Bear River United Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch St., Digby (902-245-2525).
