Elmer Muise — Yarmouth

MUISE, Elmer Mandé – age 75, Morris Island, Yarmouth Co., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born October 24, 1942 in Surette’s Island, he was a son of the late Henry and Gertrude (Surette) Muise. Elmer worked as a scallop fisherman for some time, after which he worked with the Department of Fisheries as a fishery officer. In his spare time, he enjoyed boating in his Cabin Cruiser, deer and duck hunting and fishing. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Betty (Surette) Muise; daughter, Della LeBlanc (Brian Pottier), Tusket and Owen Elmer Muise, Morris Island, as well as by four sisters and one brother. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Yarmouth, where a private service has taken place.
