Estelle Holden — Yarmouth

HOLDEN, Estelle Marie – age 85, Plymouth, Yarmouth Co., passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born on April 13, 1933 in Wedgeport, she was a daughter of the late Michel and Evelina (Doucet) Boudreau. She was a member of Saint Michael’s Parish and she enjoyed knitting socks and slippers as well as reading her cookbooks. She is survived by her husband, Mildon, as well as by her daughter, Rose (Bill) Thibeau, Hebbville; grandchildren, Kerry (Michael) Sutherland, Carmen Earle and Mark Thibeau, as well as by great grandchildren, Grace and Karlee. Also surviving is a brother, Victor Boudreau (Anne Cardoza-Boudreau), Yarmouth, and a sister, Catherine (Eugene) Bourque, Plymouth. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Wallace, Julius, Ted and Mike Boudreau; sisters, Margaret Boutin, Rita Boutin, Agnes Newell, Bernice Arbuckle and Rosabelle Cottreau. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A Funeral Mass was held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 10 from Saint Michael’s Catholic Church, Wedgeport, Father Albéni d’Entremont officiated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery.
