Euphemia "Ann" Grimshaw — Dayton

GRIMSHAW, Euphemia “Ann”- age 79, of the Villa St Joseph du Lac, passed away April 17, 2019 at the Villa with her family by her side. The youngest of 14 children she was born September 24, 1939 in Central Chebogue and was a daughter of the late Frank and Mildred Belle (Nickerson) Cook. Ann was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a big part of the Chebogue community growing up on the Cook’s Dairy Farm. From a young age she developed a love of animals that continued throughout her life with her dogs, especially her pugs. Ann was always very health conscious and enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, time outside and walking, which she enjoyed right up until her final days. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Hugh Grimshaw; daughters, Torey Grimshaw (James Surette); Mitzy (Gordon Poole) Grimshaw-Poole; Lori (Gordie) Muise; brothers, Steven (Nancy) Cook, Neil Cook, Joe Cook, brother in law; Ernest (Charlene) Grimshaw; grandchildren; Brittni (Matthew) McGuinty; Matthew (Allison) Muise; Brigham Poole (Candice); Maxwell Poole; Hughstin Grimshaw-Surette, Hudson Grimshaw-Surette, Harmon Grimshaw-Surette. Besides her parents Ann was predeceased by her siblings; Robert, Donald, Francis, Hugh, Ken, Arnold, William, Lillian Bowers, Mildred Turner, Alice Sollows. Cremation has taken place under the care of Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. There will be no visitation or funeral. Donations in memory may be made to the Yarmouth S.P.C.A, Villa St Joseph du Lac, or Nakile Home for Special Care.
