Eva Harding

HARDING, EVA BERNICE -92, formerly of Osborne passed away peacefully at Surf Lodge, Lockeport. Eva was the last surviving member of her immediate family and daughter of the late Amos and Annie Roache. Eva was an avid quilter, enjoyed knitting, and in earlier years camping with the family. She was a head of the Women’s Missionary Group and a Longtime member of the Gideon International of Canada. She was a school teacher all of her working years and retired as principle of Lockeport Elementary School. She is survived by nephews; Kenneth (Guilda) Stuart, Milton; Linley Roache, Lockeport; Troy (Uma) Roache, Bridgewater; Trevor (Tara), Sable River; special cousin Shirley; great-nieces, Courtney, Halley, Ashley; great-nephew Joel. Eva was predeceased by her husband Harry Harding, sisters; Helen and Marjorie; brothers, Percy and Evans. A funeral service was held on Saturday December 30 th @ 11:00 a.m. at the Lockeport Pentecostal Church with a visitation at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Gideon’s Society or the Osborne cemetery fund. Arrangements are under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne.
