LeBLANC, Evangeline Ann Catherine – age 96, Villa St. Joseph-du-Lac, Dayton, formerly of Abram’s River, Yarmouth Co., passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born October 9, 1921 in Abram’s River, she was a daughter of the late François and Melvina (Hubbard) Moulaison. Evangeline worked as a cashier at both Filene’s and at A&P while they lived in Dorchester, Mass., after which they moved back home to care for her aging parents. She is survived by a sister, Gertrude Bourque, Hamilton, ON and a brother, Paul (Vera) Moulaison, Coniston, ON, as well as by many nieces and nephews. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Martin J. LeBlanc, a son in childhood, Brian, and siblings, Thadée "Ted", Genevieve, Louis, Camille, Marjorie and Vincent. Visitation took place from 7-9 p.m. Monday with prayers at 8 p.m. at H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, 29 Albert St., Yarmouth. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 24 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Anne’s Church, Ste-Anne-du-Ruisseau, Father Albeni d’Entremont officiated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery.
