Hazel Nickerson — Yarmouth

NICKERSON, Hazel Mae - age 101, of Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2018 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Glenwood, Yarmouth County on March 20, 1917 she was a daughter of the late Burton and Mary (Jeffery) Roberts. She is survived by her children, Burton (Pat) Nickerson & Donna (Bud) Ryerson; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence; daughters, Patricia and Linda; and her sister, Helen Frost. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date with burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to the Tri County V.O.N.
