James Nickerson — Shelburne

NICKERSON, James Dewey - 76 of Sandy Point passed away peacefully on April 28th, 2019 in Roseway Hospital with his son and sister by his side. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Elmer and Winnifred (Acker) Nickerson. He was a loving father, brother and grandfather. He is survived by sisters; Jane, Wendy and Margo, children; Christine, Connie and Neil and a special grandson Bradley, many nieces and nephews and other family members. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brother, Barry; son, Barry and daughter, Terri. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium Limited, Shelburne. At the request of James there was no funeral service. Donations in his name may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
