Jamie Grant — Yarmouth

GRANT, Jamie Blake - age 47 of Yarmouth passed away on August 17, 2018 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born October 1,1970 in Yarmouth to Victor and Jeanette (Saulnier) Grant. Jamie loved his strat-o-matic game, bowling, basketball and watching wrestling. He collected horror DVD’s, hockey cards and old school records. He enjoyed going to card shows and trying to find a great deal at a yard sale. Jamie loved playing with his children, from soccer to barbies, and delighted in making them laugh with his dance moves. He enjoyed taking walks with his wife and children, particularly on the beach at the lighthouse. He was an avid reader, especially the newspaper and Stephen King books. He is survived by wife Barbara (Hogg), mother Jeanette, stepfather William Pothier, daughters Caitlin and Sophie, son Blake, brother Jason (Melissa) Grant of Yarmouth, and sister Bonnie Grant of Yarmouth. He was predeceased by his father Victor. A Celebration of Life took place Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 2:00 pm from Sweeny's Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Fred Muise officiated. Donations in memory may be made to Mental Health Association of Yarmouth. Final arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth.
