Jarrett James Melanson

MELANSON, Jarrett James Jarrett James Melanson, age 18, of Plympton, Nova Scotia, passed away on September 15, 2019, due to a motorcycle accident. Born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, on January 30, 2001, he was the son of James Melanson and Connie Lewis Mullen. Jarrett was a kind hearted and giving person from a young age, always helping others and expecting nothing in return. He enjoyed life to the fullest. He enjoyed his motorbikes and four wheelers, hunting and fishing and had recently followed in his father’s footsteps as a scallop fisherman. He had many, many friends and was loved by all. Besides his parents, he is survived by sister, Courtney (Faron Henshaw), Deep Brook; brother, Tyler Mullen, Digby; nephews, Wyatt and Liam Henshaw, Deep Brook; grandparents, Eugene Melanson, Plympton, Phyllis Melanson, Digby and Joyce Lewis, Digby; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Basil Lewis. Cremation has taken place; burial will take place at a later date. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Digby Branch, Mount Street, Digby, on Saturday, October 5, 2019, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Everyone welcome.
