Jeanette Hubbard — Amirault's Hill

HUBBARD, Jeanette Marie – age 91, Amirault’s Hill, Yarmouth Co., passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at home. Born November 24, 1927 in Amirault’s Hill, she was a daughter of the late Jérôme and Elizabeth (Amirault) Muise. Jeanette worked at Cosmos Imperial Mills/Dominion Textiles for most of her working life and she was very devoted in her Catholic faith, having been a lifelong member of Holy Family Parish. She is survived by her children, Gary (Margaret) Hubbard, Lower Eel Brook; Wanda (Martin) Stoddart, Amirault’s Hill and Graydon (Patsy) Hubbard, Amirault’s Hill; eight grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one on the way, as well as by a sister, Augusta Doucette, Amirault’s Hill. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Bernard L. Hubbard; a son, Kenton Hubbard; brothers, Gerald in infancy, Leslie, Joseph, Nelson, Joe Muise and Emile; sisters, Catherine in infancy, Rosabelle Muise, Shirley Muise, Gertrude Doucette. Visitation will take place on Friday, August 9 from 7-9 p.m. at H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth, with prayers at 8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 10 from Holy Family Catholic Church in Amirault’s Hill, Father Albéni d’Entremont officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or to a charity of your choice.
