Joyce M. Krause

KRAUSE, Joyce M. Joyce M. Krause (nee Rice), June 30, 1933 – July 8, 2019. Born in Annapolis Royal, NS. She moved to Yarmouth’s “south end” and raised four children. In 1971, Mom moved to Brockton, Mass. and married Charles Krause. She worked in retail and in her later years, she had a private daycare in her home. In her senior years, she hosted a yearly Tuesday Night Bingo at the Seniors Club House, along with many parties, BBQ’s, yard sales, pot lucks and Christmas in July. She also decorated the outside grounds. She was very talented when it came to doing all sorts of crafts. She enjoyed visiting Yarmouth and being with her friends. Mom was laid to rest with her husband, Charles, in the National Cemetery in Bourne, Mass. Some ashes will be taken to Lequille, Annapolis, to be placed with her mother, Pearl; father, Lance Corporal Clarence E. Rice and brother, Junie (Clarence). Surviving are children, Linda, Michael, Terry, Dwayne (Muise); grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
