Lillian White — Yarmouth

WHITE, Lillian Isabelle, 91, Yarmouth, formerly of Carleton, passed away surrounded by her family on September 11, 2018 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Kemptville, January 1 ,1927, she was a daughter to the late Marsden and Annie (Hamilton) Gray. Lillian was a volunteer with the Carleton Fire Department, past member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 167, Carleton. She enjoyed curling, horse jumping and crocheting. She is survived by daughters, Anna Thompson, Brazil Lake; Susan (Leonard) Fitzgerald, Yarmouth; Jeanie (Carmen) Jackson, Hammonds Plain; sons, Darrell (Sharon) White, Bridgetown; Wayne (Becky) White, Yarmouth; Roger (Pauline) White, Pinkney’s Point; sisters, Harriette Bullerwell, Brazil Lake; Flora LeBlanc, Yarmouth; 25 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Cecil White; daughters, Hope Richardson; Doreen Pulley; brothers, Harold, Merril, Fred; sisters, Myrtle, Eva, Adeline and Fanny. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Memorial Service was on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 2pm. from the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Kevin Myers officiated. Burial followed service in the Hillside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
