Louis "Louie" Muise
MUISE, Louis L. “Louie” – age 95, died very peacefully at Nakile Home for Special Care, Argyle, on Thursday, December 28, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was a veteran of the second World War, having served as an aviation mechanic. He was the son of the late Leon and Julienne (Frotten) Muise. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife, Leona Vacon (2005) and a son James “Jim” (1980). He is survived by his children, Paulette (Harvey), Scottsdale, AZ; David (Clair), Dartmouth; Alma (Randy), Sussex, NB; Milton (Judy), Fall River, as well as 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Dad, we will always miss you, your love and your humour. Visitation took place from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday with prayers at 8 p.m. at H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 3 at 10:30 a.m. from Saint Agnes Church in Quinan, Father Albeni d’Entremont officiated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery. In lieu of Mass offerings or flowers, donations in memory of Louie may be made to the Salvation Army. The family wishes to thank the Nakile staff for their very, very special care, as well as Janita Muise for her special love and care of Dad for 17 years.
