Mary Bartlett — Yarmouth

BARTLETT, Mary Louise - 61, Arcadia, passed away February 14, 2019 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Maine, USA, she was a daughter to the late Henry Knockwood and Lydia Labrador Barlett. Mary was an amazing basket maker which she inherited from her mother and took great pride in. She was a caring and loving mother, grandmother and friend. A good spirit, always positive was her nature. She is survived by sons, John, David and Danny Bartlett; brother, Bob (Doris) Bartlett; several grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Cheryl Pictou; son, Steven Pictou; brothers, Joe and Danny Bartlett. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Memorial Service was held Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 2:00p.m. from the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. A gathering followed the Memorial Service at the Rose Purdy Recreation & Community Centre, Reserve Rd., Arcadia. Memorial donations may be made to the Friends of Gilles Boudreau Cancer Help Fund.
