Nadia Gavel — Yarmouth

GAVEL, Nadia Diana Lynn – age 72, of Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 19, 2019 at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. She was born on January 8, 1947 in New Westminster, British Columbia. She was a loving and devoted mother of four children. She enjoyed writing letters to pen pals, gardening, doing cross word puzzles, going to yard sales, drinking coffee and going for drives. She also loved her cat Snuggles who was very important to her. She is survived by her loving children; Colleen Gavel, David Gavel, Bonnie Hebb, and Brenda Gavel, as well as grandchildren; Bruce, Emma and Elsie, and her sister, Rosie Hadden. She was predeceased by her brother, Daniel Bodnar. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Donations in Nadia’s memory can be made to the Gilles Boudreau and Friends Cancer Fund.
