Verlie Warner
WARNER, Anne Veronique (Verlie, Valerie) - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce, with her family by her side, the peaceful passing of Verlie Warner on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at home in Abram’s River. She was born June 22, 1938 in Amirault’s Hill to the late Adolphe Hubbard and Evelyn (Muise). Aside from her parents she was predeceased by sons Willis, Mark (infancy); daughters Judy, Connie and Jennie (infancy); granddaughter Julie and her brother Elmer. She is survived by her husband Clarence of 62 years; son Dennis (Nadine), Yarmouth; daughters, Susan (Tom), North Belleville; Janice (Scott), Overton and Carmen (Neil), Abram’s River. Proud Grand-Mère to Denise (Kevin), Shawn (Kelly), Amy (Dave), Jennifer (Peter), Billy (Brooke), Alyssa (Chris), Kyle (Emily), Heidi (Dom). Also ten great grandchildren; sister, Geraldine (Walter), Naples, Florida; brother, Ralph (Eileen), Amirault’s Hill and many nieces and nephews. Mom loved her family and was proud of each of us. We were in her thoughts daily. She was the heart and soul of the family. Mom was a fabulous baker and cook. No matter what challenges she was faced with she never complained and always kept her faith in God. Mom always had an encouraging word for those she loved. As per her wishes there was no visitation. Family flowers only. Memorial donations to the Gilles Boudreau and Friends Cancer Help Fund and the Ste. Anne Parish Building Fund. Funeral service was held Thursday, December 6 at 11:00 a.m., at Ste Anne Church, Ste Anne du Ruisseau, Father Albeni d’Entremont officiated. Also a special thank you to Dr. Chris Murphy for his kindness towards mom. Rest in peace Mom, Verlie. We will always love you and we will hold you in our hearts forever. God Bless.
