MAY, Wesley Howard Nelson – 73, of Barrington Passage passed away on Saturday October 20, 2018, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital where he was a resident for the past year. Born November 8, 1944 in Picton, Ontario, he was the son of the late Howard Alton and Evelyn Jean (Lavender) May. Wesley was a truck driver all of his life, first in Ontario and then in Clark’s Harbour with Clearwater Seafood. He was an avid baseball fan. He followed the Blue Jays and he attended their games whenever possible. He is survived by his wife, Ruby (Ross) May; sisters, Marilyn May, Sharon Little; brother, Larry May; two step-grandsons, Katlin Banks and Matthew Banks. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Linda Ross; brother, Wayne May, David May; step-daughter, Rose Mary Banks. The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses on 4th floor South at Yarmouth Regional Hospital and the Dialysis Unit, as well as Doctors Moses, Aikeida and Togloto. There was a visitation on Friday, 6-8 p.m. at the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington. The funeral service was held Saturday, October 27, 2 p.m. at the Newellton Baptist Church with Pastor Bob Parker officiating. Interment followed in the Old Kirk Cemetery, North East Point. It was requested there be family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or a charity of your choice.
