YARMOUTH, NS – The Atom B Mariners, sponsored by Pink Star Barro, had a very successful showing at the Jack Frost Tournament in Liverpool on Dec. 27 and 28 by bringing home the championship banner.
In the first game Yarmouth beat Chester Ravens 5-1. Goals scored were by Crofton MacAlpine, Lucas Cushing (2), Mateo d'Entremont and Parker LeBlanc. Assists were from Parker LeBlanc, Jake Sanford, and Andre Hill.
In the second game, Yarmouth beat Queens Cougars 5-0. Goals scored by Parker LeBlanc, Carter Amiro, Brooke Travis, and Andre Hill (2). One assit by Carl Landry. Zander White was in net.
In the third game, Yarmouth defeated the South Shore Lumberjacks 3-2. Goals were scored by Crofton MacAlpine (2) and Andre Hill. Assists were made by Jesse Churchill, Mateo d'Entremont, and Dana Hill.
In the fourth game, Yarmouth played Yarmouth Atom C, winning 4-0. Goals were scored by Brooke Travis, Parker LeBlanc and Andre Hill and Crofton MacAlpine. Assists were from Crofton MacAlpine and Jake Sanford.
In the championship game, Yarmouth defeated the South Shore Lumberjacks 3-2. Andre Hill had the hat-trick, assisted by Lucas Cushing, Mateo d'Entremont, Tyler Sutherland and Brody Goodwin.
Zander White was in net for all tournament games.
