Barons win provincial baseball banner

BARRINGTON, N.S. — The Barrington Barons have won the Nova Scotia Schools Athletic Federation (NSSAF) Division 2 Boys Baseball 2019/20 Championship. 
The Barons were undefeated at the two division, six-team tournament hosted by Amherst over the Oct. 19 weekend. In division play, the Barons edged Millwood 3-2 and took out Hants North 17-0 in four innings (15 run rule).
In semi-final crossover action, Barrington defeated Eastern 17-2 in four innings to advance to the championship game, where they doubled Millwood 6-3 for the banner.
The Barons also captured the Western Region baseball championship earlier this month.
