Beaver Bank’s Cole Foston will have to wait to make his Halifax Mooseheads home debut.

The team announced on Thursday Foston suffered a lower-body injury on the weekend and will miss the next three-to-four weeks. The home opener is on Friday against the Charlottetown Islanders.

The 16-year-old winger was the Mooseheads’ top pick in this year’s QMJHL draft. He was taken in the fourth round (70th overall).

Foston played in Halifax’s two road games to open the season but did not register any points.
