YARMOUTH, N.S. – There will be two Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation (NSSAF) provincial titles up for grabs at the Mariners Centre in Yarmouth this weekend.
The Par-en-Bas Sharks boys hockey team is hosting NSSAF Division 3 provincials. Aside from PEB, competing high schools include Barrington, Inverness-Baddeck, CBHA/NDA, Dalbrae and SAERC.
The Yarmouth Vikings girls hockey team is hosting NSSAF Division 2 provincials. This tournament sees five teams taking part: Yarmouth, Par-en-Bas/Clare, West Kings, Middleton and Dalbrae.
Both tournaments are running Friday, March 23 to Sunday, March 25. NOTE: Due to the weather on Thursday which resulted in school closures and also impacted travel plans, the schedule has been changed and is different from what appeared in print in the Tri-County Vanguard this week. The new updated scheduled appears here.
Admission at the door covers all of the games taking place throughout the weekend, regardless of whether it is part of the boys or girls tournaments.
A tournament pass is $20 for adults and $10 for students. A day pass if $8 across the board. A game pass is $5 for adults and $3 for students/seniors. Admission for children 12 and under is free.
