Forest Heights, a high school just outside Chester, disposed of host DRHS Mariners 25-16 and 25-19 shortly before the final. It was the second match between the two schools, both playing in division A.
The Mariners began their tournament Friday with a win over Drumlin Heights, but then suffered their first loss in the evening match with Forest Heights.
On Saturday, the Mariners had wins over Annapolis and North Queens, before again running into the Forest Heights squad.
Also in division B with Clare were St. Mary’s Bay Academy and Liverpool.
