The provincial berth came from an Aug. 22 win in Yarmouth, against their league rivals and perennial favourites Upper County United, from New Germany.
With the win the Pet Valu Clippers become the South Shore League champions in the U16 division and will represent the league at provincials in September.
The female Clippers played a sound possession game, earning a 1-0 lead in the first half with a goal from Jalisa Fells. Sophie Atkinson was in net making key saves when required.
In the second half the Clippers continued their dominant possession game and started filling the net with goals from Jalisa Fells, Sophie Atkinson, Andrea Oguntade and Sydney Barr. Lindsey Minard took over goal keeping duties for the half to keep the Clippers ahead. The final score was 5-1.
