KITCHENER, Ont. — A former Cape Breton Highlanders player has found a new home for the 2019-20 National Basketball League of Canada season.
Forward Oluyuima Famutimi will start the year with the KW Titans.
The Toronto native joins the Kitchener-Waterloo-based club after spending last season with the Highlanders, who have taken a leave of absence from the league.
Famutimi averaged 22.2 minutes per game for the Highlanders last season, recording 8.7 points per game.
Kitchener-Waterloo opens the regular season on Dec. 27 when they travel to London to play the Lightning. Game time is 8 p.m. Atlantic Time.
