Yarmouth Skating Club members participated as part of Team Nova Scotia at event

YARMOUTH, N.S. — Six skaters from the Yarmouth Skating Club participated at the Atlantic Championships in East Hants as members of Team Nova Scotia this past weekend.

Shayleigh Doucet won gold in Star 10. Other results included: Sharlie Pinksen placing 9th in STAR 8, Allison Thériault was 10th in Juvenile under 14, Bailey Pitman was 13th in STAR 5 over 19, Lauren Lyons was 12 in Star 5 while Jasmine LeFave was 15th in the same event.

According to head coach Megan Long it’s the first time that six skaters from Yarmouth were members of Team Nova Scotia.
