YARMOUTH, N.S. – The Yarmouth U15B PetValu Clippers captured provincials gold in Cape Breton this past weekend.

During the provincials that were held Sept. 8 and 9, the Yarmouth squad went undefeated 4-0, claiming the championship by defeating Sackville United 3-2 in the gold medal game.

Goals during the provincials weekend were scored by Michel Comeau, Logan Burgess, Ibaad Hemani, Blake Goodwin, Nema Hannah and Hunter Muise. Ben Marais in net for all 4 games.

The team had finished in first place in the Valley league and had won the district title to advance to the provincials in Cape Breton.

The team was made up from kids across the tri-counties and was coached by Jerry Burgess and John Higby. Wendy Robichaud was team Manager. The coaching staff thanks all the kids and parents for a wonderful season of soccer.
