Exhibit to trace generations of family's art

‘Family Genes: A Historical Portrayal of the Clow Family Artists’ will be on exhibit at the Yarmouth County Museum and Archives from Sept. 1 to Nov. 10.

An opening reception will be held on Sept. 1at 2 p.m. at the museum on Collins Street. Admission is free.

Depicting the art legacy of the Clow family, this exhibit will feature the artistic talents of family members dating from the 1920s to the present.

“Here is a wonderful . . . story of a historical exhibition of paintings of the Clow family from my great-great grandmother in 1925 . . . through the generations of other artist in our family, to my mom at age 87,” says Ann Clow. “I followed in their footsteps. My dad turned 90 this year and feel it is important to share our legacy.”
