I used to live at the house on the Saunders Rd by the bridge, does anyone remember the rope in the tree. I lived there for 16 years and it was never like that. I remember once it was about a foot to the bridge but never over. Thanks for the pictures it almost makes me want to go home.

I have been away from yarmouth over 12 + years, neaver heard or seen anything like this ( rain wise) in my life around yarmouth since ground hog storm back in the early 70s, my heart goes out to family and friends and everyone else in yarmouth, be strong and help each other in time of need.please be safe when you are out taking pitchures for your safe keep and showing other people who is from there, but not living there no more thanks for the pic's

Thanks so much for sharing what's happening with those of us who are living away, but our home is always there! My dad is nearly 90 and lives in Yarmouth still, he has NEVER seen anything like it and I'm sure most others are the same. Water has such a power and we shouldn't ever forget it. Stay safe and hopefully dry. Keep the info and pictures coming

I do remember the rope and had a lots of fun on it.I used to walk down from whitehouse corner a lot to swim there .At that time the Sweeny's lived in the house. Then when they moved I'm not sure who moved in.I have never seen this much flooding around.I now live on on the Holly rd. in brazil lake there is no pics.but my road was closed ,the road was flooded down at the pleasent vally end and the dam in gardeners mill is gone it washed out to.There is a lots of water around.
