Team West won the President's Cup for the CJHL Prospects Games series that began at the Digby arena with a game on Saturday, Nov. 10 and ended with a game at the Mariners Centre in Yarmouth on Nov. 11.

Although Team East won Sunday's game by a score of 6-3, Team West had defeated Team East 5-0 the night before, giving them a 8-6 win in the series when the accumulative goals were added up.

The players of the game for the Nov. 11 contest were West Prospects Ryan Berlin, hometown Edmonton, Alberta, for the West prospects and Aiden Wallace, hometown hometown Markham, Ontario, for the East prospects.

Barrington resident Morgan Messenger of the Yarmouth Mariners – the obvious fan favourite in this game – was selected as the player of the game for the East prospects at the game in Digby. Sean MacTavish, hometown Edmonton, Alberta, was the player of the game for the West prospects.

Aside from Messenger there was more local flavour to the teams. The two assistant coaches for the Yarmouth Mariners were on the bench for the teams – Timothy Garden-Cole for the East prospects and John Murphy for the West prospects.
