Junior high girls’ volleyball regionals will be hosted by the Grade 9 Yarmouth high school team this week after the team won districts last Wednesday.
Regionals will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 4. Play will commence at 10 a.m.
Eight teams will be competing for the regionals title. Aside from Yarmouth they include teams from Ecole Par-en-Bas in Tusket, Bridgewater, Clare, Berwick, Middleton, Chester and Northeast Kings.
Last week Yarmouth, Par-en-Bas and Maple Grove competed in districts. Yarmouth defeated Par-en-Bas in two sets in the championship.
