YARMOUTH - A trailer packed with 40,000 pounds of pop parted company with the truck hauling it, as it rounded the corner from Cliff onto Pleasant Street. No one was injured in the incident. A spokesperson for the company says they are waiting for a truck to arrive from the Valley.
"Hopefully he'll be able to lift it up and get it over to our warehouse. If not, we're going to have to unload it," he said.
The truck, which was leased, was delivering the load from Yarmouth to Digby.
Pleasant Street is blocked from Cliff Street to Waverley Street.
