It is with the deepest regret possible that I inform you of the sudden passing of my only son, my son shine, Borden John (BJ) Hazlett, Dec 19, 1983 - Feb 5, 2018. A memorial service was held Feb 16th in Campbell River, BC. His ashes will be taken to Yarmouth, NS for a public burial and celebration of life at a later date. He enjoyed playing x-box. At the present time, his favourite games were Grand Theft Auto (GTA) and Conan the Barbarian. He spent many, mostly happy, hours playing these and a few other games. He enjoyed playing pool with his cousin Jeff, outdoor activities, occasionally hiking the Elk Falls Trail and was an animal lover. He was a good artist that didn't recognize his talent. Borden was a son, a brother and an uncle. He is survived by his mother Florence ANN Hazlett nee Harding, Campbell River, BC, his sister Sabrina Ann Hazlett, Calgary, AB, his nieces Kiauna and Kristen Hazlett, his nephew Ethan Lent and his father Borden Everett Hazlett, Yarmouth, NS. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Chester Newell and Audrey Pearl Harding (Cann), paternal grandparents John Everett Hazlett and Hazel Marie Sparks (Croft), as well as his uncle, Timothy LeBlanc (Debbie) and cousin John Conrad. He was living in Campbell River, BC with his mother. His loss will be felt for a long time and the world is now deprived of a kind and caring person. In memoriam donations can be made to the I.W.K. or any Children's Hospital of your choice.
