The Bridgewater Bantam AAA Bulldogs won the Atlantic Championship the Sept. 12-14 weekend in Charlottetown by defeating Newfoundland in the final game 4-0.
They Bulldogs went undefeated in the tournament, winning 9-0 over Dieppe, 19-8 over Newfoundland, 11-1 over PEI(2), and 4-0 over PEI(1). Yarmouth's Brad Jones played second base for the team and had a batting average of 375 for the tournament.
This finished the season for the Bulldogs after capturing the provincial and Atlantic titles.
