A golf tournament held in memory of Darlene Crowell will be in support of the Barrington Sea Star Ice Dogs.

The 1st Annual Darlene Crowell Memorial Golf Scramble will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 10 a.m. at the River Hills Golf And Country Club in Clyde River.

The memorial tournament is intended to be a fun fundraiser for the Barrington Sea Star Ice Dogs hockey team’s 2014-15 season.

There will be door prizes and an auction to follow open to everyone.

Only rules are: teams are to have at least a 40 handicap.

Organizers are hoping to see a lot of Ice Dog’s Alumni out to support the team and to remember Crowell.

The cost is $240 per four-person team ($60 each extra player).
