YARMOUTH – Soccer season has gotten underway for Yarmouth Pet Valu Clippers rep soccer teams. Here are results from some recent games.

U14 boys Clippers post 5-0 shutout win

On Monday evening, June 15, in South Shore Soccer League action the Yarmouth Under 14 Boys Pet Valu Clippers played their first league game of the season in New Germany.

Yarmouth had a strong outing playing against the Upper County United team, coming out with a 5-0 victory. Scoring for Yarmouth were Maxime Bertrand with three goals. Alex Wells and Noah Atwood each scored one. In net was Morgan  Chenel.

The Pet Valu Clippers will be at home this weekend with two games on Saturday, June 20, against Chester at the Janet Smith Memorial Field in Hebron at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

 

 U16 girls Clippers start season with two shutouts

The Yarmouth U16 Girls Pet Valu Clippers started their 2015 Tier 2B season with two shut out wins on the road last weekend against Mahone Bay.

The Clippers won their first game 3-0. Scoring were Jalisa Fells with two goals and Andrea Oguntade with one. In the goal was Hallie Moore. 

The second game against Mahone Bay saw the Clippers win 7-0. Scoring were Jalisa Fells with 3 goals, Angele LeBlanc with 2 goals and Andrea Oguntade and Sydney Barr with one each. Hallie Moore recorded another blank sheet in goal.

Home games for the Yarmouth U16 Girls Pet Valu Clippers against Upper County are scheduled for Sunday, June 28 at the old high school field. Game times are 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

 

U16 boys Clippers drop two as season starts

The Yarmouth Under 16 Boys Pet Valu Clippers lost 5-2 versus Upper County Under 16 Boys on Saturday morning, June 12. Scoring both of Yarmouth’s goals was Dan Smith.

In a second game that same day the Yarmouth Under 16 Boys Pet Valu Clippers was shut out by Upper County 5-0.

The team is scheduled to play a home game at the Janet Smith Memorial Field on Thursday, June 18 at 6:30 p.m.

 

U12 Girls Clippers lose twice

The Yarmouth U12 Girls Pet Valu Clippers soccer team lost two tough games in their season opening road trip to Chester on Saturday, June 13. 

They team plays next in Lunenburg on Sunday, June 21.
